Jinki was the typical type of student that was easily overlooked, if it hadn’t been for his outstanding brains. He was shy, friendly and aside from that extremely gullible. So much, that Minho couldn’t help but trail after the elder, making sure he wouldn’t help the Slytherin with their potions homework and to keep his fellow Gryffindors away when it came to subjects that required harder studies—such as charms or transfiguration. 

Jinki always repaid Minho with the same smile in the hallways, a small gesture of gratitude as he hurried to his next class. It wasn’t until later, at night as the both of them had huddled in the astronomy tower, gazing at the stars and reminiscing over the time they had already spent together, that the Ravenclaw dared to lace his fingers together with the younger Gryffindor. 

“Thank you Minho-yah,” he’d mutter against plush lips and soft skin, followed by a lame joke such as, “you’ve put me under your spell.”
Minho’d laugh, press his lips against Jinki’s to keep the elder from talking and they’d sit there, in their own little sheltered place until it was time to go back to their respective rooms.  
Jinki was the type of student that was easily overlooked and Minho didn’t mind at all—because as they parted in front of his common room, under the all seeing eye of the Fat Lady (who would later report the scenes to her friends in other portraits), he could only think; at least he’s all mine.
